Brandon Hansen, Senior Managing Partner
Brandon Hansen has worked as a financial consultant for the past eighteen years. He graduated with a BS in Business with an emphasis in Finance - Investments from the University of Utah in 1991. He later received his Masters of Business Administration from Utah State University.
Brandon currently is a Financial Advisor under Fountain Head Consulting that works with some of the largest asset managers in the country. He is the Senior Managing Partner in Commercial First Capital Funding that he specializes in Liquidity funding. Liquidity financing is the practice of funding investment graded instruments as collateral against funds loaned to the individual or entity. Because of the commercial lending aspect, he is a licensed insurance agent/broker within the state of Utah, as well as an accredited underwriter correspondent to four of the 6 largest U.S. Banks.
His rich career began with First Interstate Bank in Salt Lake City, UT, and since worked with IDS Financial Services, a division of American Express, Prudential Financial Services and Pruco Securities. He has security analysis experience with Wasatch Advisors, and its managing funds. Wasatch remains as the only mutual fund management organization in Utah.
Today he is a licensed Lending officer and advisor with Fountain Head Consulting and a leading commercial loan underwriter and specialist with Commercial First Capital Funding. His primary focus today remains in real estate finance. Commercial First Capital Funding is a direct underwriter as well to some of the largest private banking groups in the country. These include institutional pension funds and insurance companies.
Mervyn Bennion, Managing Partner
Mervyn Bennion was educated in Salt Lake City where he earned a BS in Finance. Shortly thereafter, he was instrumental in the organization and management of a banking institution. This opportunity afforded Mr. Bennion in-depth expertise in all facets of banking with an emphasis in commercial and residential lending.
For over thirty-years, Mr. Bennion has been responsible for placing billions of dollars in commercial and residential funding around the region.
In recent history, Mr. Bennion shifted his focus from traditional commercial funding to a form of funding popularized in Europe, known as liquidity funding. Liquidity funding is the monetization of investment-grade financial instruments for any legitimate commercial purpose. Thereby relieving the developer from the extensive and cumbersome steps associated with traditional commercial funding.
Presently, Mervyn Bennion is Managing Partner of Commercial First Capital Funding.
